The landscape designer launched “Mahanava” as the main concept inspired by Thai culture along Samut sakorn’s River. The concept is reflected in the zoning and detailed design. The fisherman village and a market zone create an atmosphere in Mahachai market which nearby the seashore (Gulf of Thailand).

Central Plaza Mahachai is a retail project completed in 2018, This project is located in Mahachai, Samut sakhon, Thailand. CPN group recognizes great potential in Mahachai for the development of the shopping complex. The city is a gateway to the south of Thailand. Central Plaza Mahachai offers 170,000 sqm. of retail space with 10,000 sqm. of food center, including an outdoor urban seafood market. 

Starting from an outdoor play area at the welcome plaza decorated by reused fishing boats as an iconic assembly point, illustrated by local artists to fulfill children's imagination of an ocean journey experience. Moreover, the Plaza floor pattern is inspired by ocean wave ripple and the school of local fish movement. The wave motion is from place to place in a regular and organized way. The dynamic pattern creates a character atmosphere in each space at the same time, it also creates unity of all areas as one ocean. We focus on making unique and aesthetic ways for all users to enjoy seaside living experiences.
